Goal: Design and run a session of an hour (+ 1,5 hours for activities before and/or after the session) for your classmates at the laboratory. Consider the most suitable pedagogical approaches (master class, flipped classroom, interactive activities, individual/group work, previous/during/after class activities, tutorial, ...) and ICT according to your topic. Consider the assessment method you will use to give PASS/NOT PASS grades for each classmate.
Topic: We will get to know the possibilities of Maker philosophy for education in primary school. We will use the resources that are available in the MakerSpace of our Faculty. Each group (4 students) will have to pick one topic from the list and explore those resources provided in our MakerSpace and linked to that topic. List of topics
Phases:
1. During 4 sessions we will work at the MakerSpace so you can explore all the resources we have there. You can bring your laptop. You must design and develop every materials you need to teach in a session what you have learnt to your classmates.
2. Each group will lead a session of an hour at the laboratory about their topic, so all of us can learn how to use resources related to that topic as teachers in primary education. Everybody should complete the activities (also before and after the session) and be evaluated.
